Climate Risk Analysis
The potential impacts of climate change affect companies in very different ways, depending on their industry, business model and other individual circumstances. A climate risk analysis examines the specific risks and evaluates them. This analysis helps companies prepare for future challenges, identify weaknesses and develop appropriate adaptation strategies to remain resilient in the long term.
Climate change and the transition to climate neutrality present both risks and opportunities. With our climate risk analysis, we identify the key climate-related risks and opportunities for your business model, your suppliers and your customers.
The results form an important part of CSRD reporting and CDP reporting. We provide individual advice to help you make your business model more resilient and take advantage of climate-related opportunities.

Why you should analyse your climate risks

From practice: Climate risk analysis for COMLINE

Hamburg Institut advises COMLINE Computer + Softwarelösungen SE on its business activities related to climate protection. The various services provided to date include the preparation of a climate risk analysis, also in the context of the company’s efforts to improve its CDP rating. COMLINE has now been able to improve its rating from C- to B.
The aim of the project was to identify and assess the climate-related risks and opportunities for COMLINE. Using scenarios, the potential risks and opportunities were identified, quantified financially where possible, and supplemented by measures to minimise risks and exploit opportunities. These findings are being gradually incorporated into the risk management system and the further development of the business model’s resilience.
