Frederic Schlotfeldt is a consultant and project manager at the Hamburg Institute. His focus is on supporting municipalities and energy supply companies in the field of municipal heat planning. His wide range of tasks includes technical and economic analyses, the development of energy scenarios and the preparation of action plans for political decision-making.
Professional experience & qualification
Frederic Schlotfeldt most recently worked as a project manager for municipal development at an energy service provider. His focus was on technical issues as well as greenhouse gas accounting, potential and scenario analyses. He managed the creation of municipal climate protection concepts and heat planning and developed corresponding strategies in close consultation with customers. During his Master’s degree, he also worked as a student assistant in the laboratory at the Institute for Environmental Technology and Energy Economics at Hamburg University of Technology. Frederic Schlotfeldt gained further practical experience as a working student in noise immission control and as a tutor in the field of thermodynamics.
