Johanna Schickling works as a consultant lawyer with a focus on energy on the legal aspects of Hamburg Institut’s consulting and research projects. The fully qualified lawyer prepares expert opinions for our customers and clients, drafts municipal statutes and legislative ordinances and analyses relevant national and European law. She also drafts proposals for the optimal further development of the legal framework. Always with the aim of accelerating the energy transition.
Professional experience & qualification
Before joining Hamburg Institut, Johanna Schickling worked as a lawyer in Munich and Aschaffenburg, specialising in public and private construction law and administrative law. Prior to this, she passed her state law examinations and was subsequently involved in extensive administrative proceedings in construction planning law as an authorised representative.
Johanna Schickling is a certified mediator according to §§ 5 and 6 MediationsG in conjunction with § 2 ZMediatAusbV.
